Sarah, 28 untangles her screaming two year oldas arms from around her neck and gives him one more quick kiss before she looks at his baby sitter apologetically and rushes out the door. As she rushes down the sidewalk she can hear her baby screaming after her, aMommy come back!a She dares not look over her shoulder for fear of seeing the toddleras wet, red face pressed against the window. Sarah starts her car and sighs. aI wish I could just stay home with him,a she thinks to herself.

Does that sound familiar? There are options! Everyday you surf the
Internet and glance at ads claiming we can make hundreds
from home. Some of them even say thousands! Now, that sounds like a dream. Is it too good to be true?

Well, it would be great if you were willing to pay a $150 start up cost or dedicate 30 hours a week to taking surveys. Who wants to send some stranger $150 over the internet if you arenat really sure what youare getting in return? Weave all heard, aIf it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.a Who would realistically be able to pull themselves away from the toddler long enough to make $1500 a month in surveys? If this were possible, we would all be professional survey takers.

That leaves you with more familiar routes for work-at-home schemes. If you have experience with sales and you know enough people with money, that client list can mean success. Many people dream of making money selling products they get online, but it’s important to have buyers, otherwise everything will sit in storage. With enough buyers, you could successfully sell cosmetics, candles, home goods, children’s toys, rubber stamping products, marital aids, and all sorts of cooking gadgets. You could find a product to fit any type of area you may be in.

So how much money does selling products actually pay? Well this depends on many factors, things like a store-front and your own dedication are major. If you are good at sales, and you were to bring them to a sales-floor, you could make anything from $30 to $200 a show. That’s not necessarily enough for rent, but it can be vacation money.

Realistically, you will amakea more money by cutting back on expenses associated with work. Drop down to one family car instead of two and youave earned $300 - $500 a month! Shaving off those dinners out because you donat have time to cook could earn you another couple hundred dollars a month. Not to mention your work clothes, lunches out, oh and that enormous child care bill!

Have a seat with your loved one and grab a calculator. Believe it or not, you could \”earn\” just as much money staying at home and cutting out all the unnecessary expenditures. You could be at home with your child, but you have to sacrifice all those lunches and dinners out, you have to start cutting back on extras. And think about this, having one income may put you in a lower tax bracket, making you eligible for more benefits!

At the end of the day, it’s your call, is it worth it to leave your
child to the hands of others all day? Children grow up very fast,
and it’s up to you to decide what’s best for them, and best for you.
Believe it or not, making the appropriate sacrifices can make your
dream come true!
