Review for the Sanyo SA 5000 KU Massage Chair Recliner

Posted on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 8:26 am

by Steve Esquire

This massage chair review is of the Sanyo SA 5000. We will review the key features, warranty coverage and other relevant items of this shiatsu recliner. Sanyo has integrated some interesting technology to provide effective massage therapy. This review is designed to help those looking for a mid range massage chair recliner. Let us take a look at this state of the art massage chair by Sanyo.

Like any purchase of electronic equipment, the warranty is your protection against defects in manufacturing and workmanship. The warranty is especially important on big ticket items. Massage chairs are big ticket items and you as the consumer want sufficient protection. The stronger the warranty, the more peace of mind you will have after your purchase. Sanyo provides a basic warranty of 1 year on the parts, 1 year on labor and 3 years on the roller mechanism. Sanyo has also started in home technician service and covers this for a generous 1 year. Sanyo also has a 24/7 call center which is another good step. The call center is fairly responsive and since it is run by Sanyo, it is more effective than if you had to rely on individual retailers as before.

This mid range Sanyo has a remote control as well as a wired sub remote. The main remote control has 4 automatic programs and a selection of manual programs. It has one button automatic programs which initiate the massage at the touch of a button. The manual massages come with manual massage courses. The manual massage courses enable the user to target particular areas to focus the massage. You can target the upper back and the massage will be confined to this area only. The control takes a little investment in time to get to know, but overall is fairly intuitive to use and learn.

An interesting technology included in the Sanyo SA 5000 is based on lie detector technology. The lie detector technology monitors perspiration and your pulse rate. The sensor then directs the chair to specific stress points based on these readings. The user must grip the wired sub remote for this function to work. So far the chair doesn’t ask you any questions, so don’t despair! This is a feature of the high end Sanyo chair and is an interesting feature. You can also change the position of the leg rest and the chair back from the sub remote. If the massage just hit a critical area, you can hit the repeat button and the massage will be repeated in the area just covered.

This mid range massage chair has four massage treatments. You can choose from Stiffness, Recovery, Relax and Fine. Stiffness is a Shiatsu style massage for the back, neck, shoulders and legs. Recovery targets stiff and tight muscles. Relax is more tranquil and is focused on full body relaxation. Fine helps to increase circulation of blood and lymph. Each of these massages can be used in conjunction with the 3 stretching functions. These stretching functions work in conjunction with the full body massages.

This Sanyo mid range model delivers 5 manual massage treatments. The five manual massage treatments are Grip, Shiatsu, Kneading, Tapping, and Combination. Grip is a unique massage function from Sanyo. The Grip uses what Sanyo calls its GK rollers. The GK rollers are specially designed to reach out around the shoulder and neck areas. This brings the gripping sensation that provides effective relief in this area. The other manual massages include Shiatsu, Kneading, Tapping, and Combination. Shiatsu is for loosening tight muscles. The kneading massage is great for getting knots out of your back. Tapping targets loosening up tight muscles with a rapid target blows. The Combination massage consists of both the kneading and tapping.

Sanyo includes an air massage system in the SA-5000 massage recliner. The air system is driven by an air compressor. The air compressor uses a system of solenoid valves to regulate the flow and control which air bags are activated during the massage. The air massage system targets the lower body. The air bags are strategically placed to target the thighs, calves and feet. The air compression massage is sequenced with a squeeze, hold and release technique. The airbags come with specially designed shiatsu points to stimulate acupressure points in the lower body to provide full body relaxation. Additionally, Sanyo has included a heater in the foot wells. This heater just heats the bottom of your feet.

We like the SA 5000 massage recliner from Sanyo. It has some great integrated technology like the pulse and perspiration sensor and the GK roller system. These are innovations you would expect from a large electronics company. We are less impressed with the look of the chair as it is a bit industrial in design. The warranty is fair and the 1 year in home service is an added benefit. You should really look at an extended warranty if it is offered for additional protection. If you are looking for a mid range massage chair, then this one should be on your short list.

by Lilah Knowles

The conventional upright vacuum cleaner will probably not be disappearing completely from the market anytime soon. It cannot be denied though that there are now new technological trends that have made the creation of new and advanced vacuum models possible. One model type that is a hit these days is the canister vacuum. If you want to look for the newest and best canister vacuum, then here are some great models, each with something special to offer.

Oreck Housekeeper Ultimate

Oreck used to specialize in hotel upright vacuums but they have since invaded the home cleaning scene with one of their best canister vacuum models. The Oreck Housekeeper Ultimate is truly one product for serious house cleaners who have large areas to keep clean. The model is actually only 5 pounds heavy but its revolutionary structure allows it to carry 16 pounds of objects and dirt. The power of this canister vacuum is simply amazing. In fact, Oreck is willing to stand by the quality and durability of its vacuum by allowing a 10 year product warranty and a 3 year motor warranty.

Oreck DutchTech 1200B

Aside from the Housekeeper Ultimate, Oreck apparently still has more aces up its sleeve. One other amazing canister vacuum model by Oreck is the DutchTech 1200B. This is guaranteed to become one consumer favorite because of it is best used for those who have dust allergies. The DutchTech has a filtration system that works so well that it is said to be able to vacuum and contain 99.99% of allergens. This best canister vacuum product will definitely leave your floors spic and span.

Eureka HP6855

Never one to be left behind especially since they are the largest vacuum manufacturer in the world, Eureka also has their own line of quality canisters. Dubbed as the High Performance series, the HP6855 boasts of two integrated power wands, a brushroll, quick release powerhead, a headlight and extra tools for cleaning the home completely. With an allergen filtration system, the air you breathe while vacuuming is made safe in an instant. It even comes with an extra tool for you to take care of bare floor areas in your house.

Electrolux EL6985a Harmony

The people at Electrolux have developed a canister that does not allow air to escape while vacuuming, which makes noise levels almost impossible to hear. The Harmony series has been specially designed and allows you to clean both carpeted and non-carpeted areas. Lightweight and ultra-portable and storable, The Electrolux Harmony Ultra Quiet Vacuum also sports a foot operated switch for easier handling and operation.

Hoover Constellation

Some British people refer to vacuums as hoovers. It is possible that this brand and model name might be the origin of the nickname for vacuums. As the model name suggests, this vacuum uses air pockets to hover over surfaces. This makes it easier for users to get around areas and surfaces. It also has a long hose that can extend up to 12 feet for hard to reach spots. If you are looking for the future of home cleaning, Hoover is probably what it will look like.

5 Things You Should Know Before You Get a Massage Chair

by Steve Esquire

1. Define Your Needs: There are a great variety of features, functions and technology available in massage chairs. Think of some of the benefits that you expect from purchasing a massage recliner. Are you looking to relieve your back, shoulders, neck, legs, feet or arms? What kind of budget do you have? Is this a long term or short term investment? Most people want 24/7 relief in the comfort and privacy of their home. Think about what you want to get out of your purchase.

2. Back Pain Relief: What are the important areas on your back? Do you need more attention on lower back or is shoulder and neck coverage more important. Some massage chairs have grasping which is good around the shoulder and neck areas. A thorough kneading massage in the lower back relieves muscles. Make sure the massage chair reaches the lower lumbar areas to ensure relief. To relieve pressure off the cervical discs, a finger press massage is very relieving. The finger press massage uses the rollers going up and down adjusting each disc as it goes. These are just a few features in massage chair recliners.

3. Massage Therapy: Massage chairs have many massage therapies available. Choose from Shiatsu, Swedish, Hawaiian, Acu pressure, Reflexology, Deep Tissue and many more. It is important to familiarize yourself with the different types as each provides certain benefits. Also, massages can be light and gentle to more invigorating depending on your needs and comfort. Most massage chair recliners offer multiple massage therapies, so make sure the most important ones are covered.

4. Lower Body Massage: Do you enjoy having your feet massaged? The premier massage chair brands deliver reflexology foot massages. The footrest has built in reflexology nodes that gently push up into your reflexology points inducing full body relaxation. Ease those tired feet with the gentle squeeze, hold and release of the reflexology foot massage. If you sit a lot, then get a buttocks massage. The massage chair cycles through massaging both hemispheres and also provides vibration therapy to enhance blood circulation. How about a little stretch? Massage chairs have lower body stretching capability. The footrest holds your feet and then extends out to more positions to stretch your lower back, hips, thighs, knees and ankles. Massage chairs have rapidly advanced the technology and effectiveness of lower body massages. Most massage chair concentrated really on the back, neck and shoulders. This was accomplished using rollers to imitate human hands. The lower body presents more challenges. These companies have developed a mechanical paddle system and air massage using air compression. Some chairs are mixed with both, but the best massage chairs use one or the other. The paddle system is limited to the calf areas. Air massage is much more flexible since the massage is delivered via air bags. These chairs have air bags for the arms, hands, feet, calves, thighs, hips, buttocks providing superior coverage.

5. Warranty Coverage: Warranty is your future protection, so it makes sense to know enough to get the coverage you require. Massage chair warranties include parts, labor, in home service vs. service center, and shipping expenses. Parts are what areas of the chair are covered and for how long. Labor is when technician time is involved, how much does the factory cover and how long? In home service is having a technician come to your house and repair the product. Finally, more companies are adding this service; make sure the manufacturer covers in home service. Also, shipping expenses for parts or for the entire chair is another factor to evaluate. Some companies are really strict and the chair must be in the original packaging or else you can buy the packaging from them! These are the main warranties areas to know about. Make sure you go with a known brand of massage chairs. I would hate to tell you the stories we have gotten from people who bought a fly by night outfit. One good test is if the massage chair company has retail accounts. If they do not, then who has leverage to make sure the warranty is honored? Most warranties cover parts, labor, in home service vs. service center, and shipping expenses. The difference is what they cover and for how long. Fortune 500 companies make you buy an massage chair industry. Compare warranties and costs and find the right protection for you.

It is an exciting time to be looking for a massage chair. The technology is so advanced and the features are very effective. Research into the various massage therapies and find the ones that will most effectively work for you. When you start to find some models, check around for others that match what you want in a chair. The best is always to try the massage recliner, and then you can test its effectiveness directly. Shop around to find the best deal; do not forget to factor in taxes and shipping. Most of all, find a massage chair to meet your needs today and tomorrow.

Prevention of skin aging and wrinkling

Posted on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 6:29 am

by Julie Samtsonn

A big part of getting older is facing the fact that your skin will start aging, causing wrinkles and sagging. When the first fine lines and wrinkles start to appear, it could be that it is time to panic and start buying up in bulk anything on the market that promises to cure wrinkles. But have you taken a look lately at all the different anti aging creams and anti wrinkle creams? The science of skin aging, would dictate that the damage is certainly done by the time you begin to notice lines and wrinkles and anything you use would only be a short term fix. In fact, stop using the creams and the wrinkles and lines return very fast.

Skin aging starts in the early years, with overexposure to the sun and or years of dry, cold winters. All the external elements that make oxidants attack the skin cells and accelerate the fat stores in cells, are detrimental to vitamins and hydration that keep them appearing plump. When the fat stores are reduced, they begin to shrivel and dry and no longer reproduce new cell growth like before. The turnover of cells begins to slow down so the outer layer of skin is composed of older, more weathered cells. These older cells look dull, and facial muscle contractions start forming wrinkles in the form of smile lines, frown lines, brow lines, crow’s feet and general sagging. People rush for anti-aging and anti wrinkle creams when they suspect their skin is aging.

The best way to prevent aging skin is to limit things like sun exposure, especially in the hottest parts of the day. Always use quality sun block that will limit UV ray exposure andwear sunglasses. Sunglasses will help block UV rays and protect the fine skin around the eye area. Avoid Tanning Beds, these things are death traps that use UV rays to accelerate tanning. It’s more harmful to your skin than regular sun exposure and doesn’t provide any of the natural nutrients or benefits you will get from sunlight. Make sure you eat a healthy diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables so that you get lots of antioxidants. Antioxidants promote healthy cell production and eliminate damaging toxins from your body. Take vitamins and supplements like Vitamin A, C and E to help promote healthy skin cell growth. Don’t smoke, this is for many health reasons, but particularly for your skin. The oxidants and toixins produced by smoking slow skin cell turnover and promote wrinkles.

Use Antioxidant enriched skin care products, and ones that promote hydrating, as dry skin cells, tend to make you look older and should be exfoliated. Focus on eye area skin care, because this is where aging shows first with puffiness and fine lines, because of the thinner skin in the area. Use Retinol A products to remove dead, dry skin cells, usually found in the form of chemical peels, to show the healthy, new cells underneath and promote new cell growth, elastin and collagen production.

These hints can help prevent premature aging, as well as this anti-ageing creams and anti wrinkle creams. Don’t wait until you begin to see the signs to start trying to prevent aging skin symptoms.

Review about the Sanyo HEC DR7700K Massage Chair Recliner

Posted on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 6:48 am

by Steve Esquire

This review will examine the best massage chair produced by Sanyo. That is the Sanyo HEC-DR7700K massage chair recliner. Sanyo is known for many of their advanced electronics and this massage chair has quite a few. We will present the more interesting features and functions. Here is our evaluation of the Sanyo DR7700K massage chair recliner.

The pace of technology is simply amazing. Massage chair have been impacted by this phenomenal trend as well. As a result, massage chairs have become more and more complex and provide users with so many more features than just a few short years ago. Since massage chairs are increasing in complexity, you always want to know the type of warranty coverage you are getting.

The DR-7700 is made by Hitachi Electric Company and the warranty is covered by Sanyo. The DR-7700 has a 3 year warranty for the roller mechanism. This is the mechanism that provides the back massage which has motors and roller arms. Labor is covered for 1 year. Parts are covered for 1 year. In home technician service is available through Sanyo and they will cover it for the first year.

The DR-7700K is a zero gravity massage chair. Technically, zero gravity means that when you recline the chair your knees are above your heart. This position takes the pressure off of your spine and distributes it across your back. The Zero gravity position was originally developed by NASA as the safest position for astronauts when they are being propelled in a rocket out of Earth’s gravity.

One of the electronic features used to tailor the massage to your body is the physical shape sensor. The physical shape sensor takes a reading to know where your body is located in the chair. If you move, then the shape sensor takes a new reading. It then adjusts the massage based on your new position.

One of the electronic marvels contained in the DR 7700 is the Stiffness detector. The stiffness detector is a derivative of lie detector technology. It reads your pulse rate and your perspiration level. It senses changes in these two parameters and then correlates where tension and stiffness may reside in your body. The massage is then tailored to relieve these areas.

Sanyo has created four excellent automatic massage programs. The DR-7700 operates these automatic programs with the touch of a button. You can select from Recovery, Relax, Stiffness and Fine. Recovery, for instance, is geared to relieving the body after strenuous exercise. Each auto program has a particular need it is trying to address.

This massage chair recliner comes with heating elements in the foot wells of the chair. These heaters are designed to warm up the soles of your feet. This is especially effective when receiving the foot massage to soothe and relax your feet.

One of the more effective manual massages included in the Sanyo DR7700K massage chair is the Grip massage. The Grip massage actually works the top of the shoulders. Sanyo has specially designed rollers called GK rollers that have special capabilities to reach over the top of the shoulder for a soothing massage.

If you are looking at a high end luxury massage chair, then check out the Sanyo HEC-DR7700. This massage chair has some of the most advanced electronic features such as the physical shape sensor and the stiffness detector. You also get an arsenal of relieving, soothing massages with both automatic and manual capabilities. The warranty for parts and labor is a bit light and you should enquire about an extended warranty. Overall, this is an effective massage chair delivering relief for your aches and pains.

Suggestions for buying a New or Used Cars and Trucks in Vancouver

Posted on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 4:53 am

by Hugh MacVicar

Many people who need tips on buying a new or used car in Vancouver look online for everything from specs to financing. And if you really want to find the best deals whether you’re considering new or used vehicles, you will need to visit several different Web sites and really do your homework.

There is so much information easily available including everything from sticker price to customer rebate information, that this chore can at times seem overwhelming. This is especially true since much of the information as well as car buying tips will vary from one site to the next. So, the best advice is to contact an auto manufacturer or Vancouver car dealer directly whenever you’re in doubt.

All of this preliminary work will of course, eventually pay off, as it should help to avoid some of the complications of buying a car and make you a much more knowledgeable buyer. So take your time and educate yourself well.

To assist you you out in your quest for useful Vancouver car buying tips, we offer a simple checklist that should help to ensure that you do indeed get the best bargain for your money.

11 Car Buying Tips

1. Before you even start looking for a car, you need to decide what your budget is and what your Vancouver bank’s interest rate is for new and used cars. If you can get pre-approved you should do so because this will enhance your negotiating position and get you your best deal quickly.

2. As we stated earlier, your next step is to find out new and used car prices online, from the library, bookstore or other Vancouver dealerships. Otherwise, insist on seeing the dealer’s invoice. Remember, when looking for a new vehicle, the dealer can still make a profit selling his new cars even at his invoice price.

3. Don’t spend your hard earned money preparing your car so you can get the best trade-in value. Instead replace new tires, radios, trailer hitches and other accessories with friends for extra cash so that you can minimize your losses once you do trade it in.

4. Now, once you begin your shopping at Vancouver dealerships don’t go alone. Take someone with you. This will give you an advantage over with the salesman.

5. Only buy used cars on lots that are associated with a new car dealer. They only keep the best trade-ins to sell themselves. The rest get moved to other used car lots.

6. Most people do not follow this next tip. Don’t get too attached to a car before buying it. If you do it will make it much harder for you to get a descent price and later on you might realize that you actually can not afford it.

7. Never, ever buy a used car before getting it thoroughly inspected by your own mechanic before hand.

8. When you have a trade in as part of the bargain make sure you get back the keys to your trade-in before you begin your negotiations so that you can leave when you want to and not when they want you to.

9. Take the time you need and shop on your own schedule and not that of the salesman’s. Don’t fall for the pressure that you need to hurry with your decision.

10. However, for the best bargain, negotiate your purchase during the last two days of the month and the last two hours of the working day for the dealership. This is always rush time for Vancouver dealers and can work in your favor as they want to close sales at this time so they can get them on the books before the month ends.

11. Here’s the last but not least of our car buying suggestions. When considering mileage and the age of the vehicle remember, the average yearly mileage on most used cars is 15,000 miles. Once they pass that 100,000 mile mark they can be a risky investment.

Review of the Garmin Streetpilot 2820

Posted on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 7:38 am

by Sean McPhearson

For someone wanting a feature packed GPS system, the Garmin StreetPilot 2820 has nearly everything. Motorcycle riders especially love this unit because they can use it to basically get anywhere and even control it with their gloves on without a hitch!

The display is nice and big. Some people think everything should be small, so they don’t like it so big, but it makes navigation much easier actually. This unit big enough to see even if you normally wear reading glasses. Its screen works just fine even in sunlight as well. You can easily see where you are headed with the 3D navigational directions. The big screen is touchscreen-enabled, so you don’t have to fiddle with buttons. It also has a handy little remote for added functionality.

Right out of the box, the StreetPilot 2820 is hassle-free. It’s already set to go with a fantastic mapping system of the entire North America streets, as well as thousands upon thousands (millions, actually) of points of interest (also called POI’s). These are things like gas stations, hotels, local attractions, restaurants, ATM’s, banks, churches, and the like. You can just pull it out of the box, turn it on, and get going!

You might enjoy taking a little time though to set up 3 really cool features that the 2820 has. That is it’s MP3 player, audio book player, and XM radio. You’ll need to subscribe to an XM radio provider to use it, but you’ll love the huge variety of options XM radio offers. The MP3 player will play anything you load up and the audio book function is cool because you can listen get some reading done while you drive without putting yourself in danger!

Don’t worry that you won’t be able to hear the audible directions while you’re listening to something else while traveling. There’s a mode you can set so that if you’re traveling down the highway and need to make a turn, it will sound a tone so that you will know to hit the “speak” button to hear your next set of directions. This feature eliminates annoying interruptions, while still enabling you to not miss essential navigation help.

Some motorcyclists have found that the Garmin StreetPilot 2820 is a better option for riding navigation than the Garmin Quest. Apparently the 2820 is much easier to use while traveling down the highway at high speeds. The easier to use, the safer the device, so I’d suggest highly considering the 2820 if you’re a motorbike rider.

The 2820 has a Bluetooth feature that is pretty handy. It has a speaker and microphone that works with Bluetooth compatible phones to allow you to make calls hands-free. If you’re using it on your motorcycle, it’s pretty neat because you can connect both your Bluetooth compatible phone, and the 2820 to your helmet or headset so you can hold a conversation and receive navigational directions at the same time.

The Garmin StreetPilot 2820 definitely is loaded with features. In fact, you’ll be hard up to imagine more in such a small gadget. It’s size, features, and functionality are certainly addicting!

Important Facts About Diamond Rings

Posted on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 6:56 am

by Grace Jennings

People propose marriage in many unique ways. It can be done at a candlelit dinner, a picnic on the beach, a sporting event or any other way you can think of. Each proposal is different, but, almost always, there’s a diamond ring involved.

Diamond rings represent quite a lot, especially when they are given as an engagement ritual. So, before you buy a diamond ring, you should understand some of the symbolism behind them. You should also understand how they are made.

When you look at diamond rings, the first thing to think about is the roundness of the band. Many people view circles as being symbolic of something that is unending. In the case of a ring band, sometimes it’s considered a symbol of an everlasting love. So, when someone wears an engagement ring, they have agreed to love the other person forever.

The tradition of giving a diamond engagement ring is one that is widely known. It’s practiced in countries all over the world. Why a diamond ring? Well, diamonds are one of the strongest substances on earth and they are also bright and clear.

Many people say that a beautiful diamond symbolizes a strong bond that can’t be broken by anything. That’s why diamonds are commonly used for wedding engagement rings. They are a symbol of love, trust and strength, which are all qualities of a good marriage.

There are two major things to consider about how diamond rings are made. Those are the diamond itself, of course, and also the metal used for the band. There are many different options to choose from. Let’s examine a few, starting with what metal to use.

Gold is the common choice for diamond rings, especially for engagements. That’s because gold is expensive. People who buy gold rings seem to indicate their willingness to invest in important things, such as a relationship, whether that investment is emotional, financial or in some other form.

If you prefer a non-traditional approach, though, don’t worry. Gold isn’t the only option. Some other, less common, options include silver, platinum or titanium. A lot depends on what you think the person you are giving the ring to will like. If your loved one isn’t very traditional, you might need a creative approach.

Of course, the band is the lesser of the two things to think about. The diamond is the main issue. When it comes to diamonds, you need to think about the size, which is measured in carats, the color, the cut and the clarity. In the diamond world, those are known as the four C’s.

Using this guide, hopefully, the diamond selection process will be a bit easier for you. Which diamond ring to buy can be a tough decision, if you don’t have the right information, after all.

Massage Recliner Review: Sanyo DR-6700 Massage Chair

Posted on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 6:38 am

by James Knolan

We will present a systematic review of the Sanyo DR-6700 massage chair recliner. This is one of the higher end Sanyo massage chairs. Sanyo is known for integrating many advanced features into their recliners. This review will cover five main categories ranging from warranty coverage to massage therapy. See how this high end massage chair is rated.

Warranty & Customer Service: Warranty is your protection from defects due to materials and workmanship. However, these warranties vary substantially from manufacturer and also by model. Here is the breakdown for the HEC-DR6700K massage chair: 3 years on the roller mechanism. The rollers give you the massage in the chair back. 1 year parts. 1 year labor. 1 year technician field service. We like the 1 year field service, but the parts and labor is rather short. Customer service is pretty good for Sanyo. Overall, the DR 6700 earns an 18.

Comfort & Ergonomics: You need to make sure that a massage chair fits your body type well and that all the main features are easily accessible. This is the goal of this category. The DR-6700 is a comfortable recliner to sit in. The back pad is soft and well padded. The head pillow is adjustable and supports the head well. The remote is well within reach and has larger buttons for the important automatic massage programs. We give the DR 6700 an 18 for comfort and ergonomics.

Ease of Use: We really like that massage chair manufacturers are adding features like there is no tomorrow. The counter-weight to this is ease of use. If a device is overly complicated, then it just won’t get used, no matter how great the feature. The Sanyo comes with two remotes. The chair has a main remote and a sub remote. The sub remote must be held for it to perform the stiffness detection. It is an interesting feature, but not at the expense of having a second remote. We give the DR6700 a 17.

Key Features: There are two electronic features integrated into the DR-6700 that are both worth pointing out. These are the physical shape sensor and the stiffness detector. The physical shape sensor memorizes the position of your body. If you move in the massage chair, then the sensor detect such movement. It then adjusts the massage program to your new position. The stiffness detector is based on Sanyo’s lie detector technology. It works by measuring your pulse rate and your level of perspiration. From there correlations have been made to areas of your body originating this increased stress and the chair will then target those areas. We rate these interesting features an 18.

Massage Therapy: You get a choice of 9 massage treatments in the HEC-DR6700. Choose from the five manual massage techniques. These manual techniques include Kneading, Tapping, Kneading/Tapping Combo, Shiatsu and Grip. After selecting the manual massage technique, you can select an area of focus. There are 4 back massage courses that target different areas of your back. You can also run the entire chair with the one-touch automatic programs. The four automatic programs have a particular theme and they range from Fine, Stiffness, Recovery and Relax. The Sanyo 6700 massage chair does a fantastic job and gets a 19 for massage therapy.

We rate this massage chair recliner 90 points out of 100. Sanyo has integrated some unique electronic functions into the DR-6700. The physical shape sensor and the stiffness detector are unique to Sanyo. We are somewhat concerned with the warranty coverage only having 1 year parts and labor for a high end massage chair. The massage therapy programs are well designed and effective. This is a very good massage chair and the DR6700 should be one for you to check into further.

Ugg Sheepskin Boot Findings

Posted on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 6:23 am

by Jane Ford

Many believe the Uggs boot to be the most comfortable on the market. It is crafted with sheepskin which is soft. It conforms to the shape of the foot and keeps it cool in hot weather and warm in the freezing cold. The functionality and craftsmanship of the sheepskin along with its comfort makes it a popular choice.

You will absolutely love those Uggs when you consider how they defy fashion logic and leaped into the mainstream. If you ask why, it’s because they deliver comfort and style. They developed out of a groundswell of consumer choice, not hype.

If you are looking for a discounted pair of Uggs boots or a special deal on Ebay, you may find something that will fit your budget. But, you will not find discounted merchandise at retail and cyber shoe stores.

In the 1960’s, Uggs became popular in Australia with the swimming and surfing crowd. California was the next stop for the fashion sensation. They are still the hottest footwear around.

Uggs slippers are made of warm sheepskin and are available in short and tall styles with colors in the neutral pallet with tans and browns. With their flat heels, they can be comfortably worn as a house slipper or on the street. They are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. A fantastic feature is that they are odor free!

Uggs were so comfy and practical they they became super popular and soon word was on the street about the new footwear. Sheepskin feels really good on your feet as opposed to cowhide. And this construction breathes and allows air to circulate which reduces the tendency to create odors.

The fleece inside the shoe creates circulation that warms your foot in the winter and cools your foot in summer. It is a boot for any season. The same could be said for the slippers also. The tanned outer surface and wool inner lining can be worn without socks. The most comfortable shoe you can choose is Uggs Australia.

If you ever wondered where the word Ugg derived from, the common interpretation was “ugly boot.” The sheep shears in Australia who first crafted the boot thought they looked ugly. The name stuck. Not that men’s Ugg boots are ugly today, the early frontier version was the ugly kind, but functional and warm.

Today there are so many styles to choose from for women’s and men’s Ugg boots. A variety of colors and materials can be chosen as well as the classic version of the Ugg boot. The Ugg boot with sheepskin sock liners and crocheted upper parts emerged as one of Oprah Winfrey’s ”Favorite Things” on her show. Uggs has incorporated design features like a slimmed down upper part, lacy looks and various lengths and colors.
