Train Your Dog to be a Good Family Member

Where you begin training is important. Having too many toys and too much noise can make training difficult. Dogs do get affected by their enviorment.
A person should be chosen for their ability to bound with the dog. If you want more than one person training the dog. Introduce each person slowly. Who ever is going to work with the dog must use the training methods as the other people that are training.
Attitude is very important. A firm but kind voice should be used. Yelling will only bring fear. It will not create a cooperative behavior in your dog.
Try to be very patient. Every dog learns at there own pace. This will not change because all dogs are different.
When working with a dog consider the breed. You may have some breeds that want to play a lot. Others like the german shepard are very easy to train. Find there strong points and develop them.
Choosig a training method. Some people use food and still others use a clicker. There are other methods available.
Make sure your training schedule is not too demanding. If your focus on one behavior at a time. You will be successful.
